4 January: As Scotland enters another extended period of lockdown, it's highly unlikely that the 2020-21 season will start, let alone finish.
A new statement will be issued once lockdown restrictions have been lifted or eased.
21 October: Hospitality venues in the Forth Valley area have been ordered to close for a further week.
As a result, the opening three rounds of fixtures have been re-arranged for mid-March and the league will re-start w/c 2 November with Week 4 Fixtures.
5 October: Laurieston A have agreed to join the league, which brings the total number of teams to ten.
A revised Fixture List is now online and has been posted to team captains.
3 October: In response to Bowls Scotland’s carpet bowls and short mat Recommendations for Play, we have published a Clarification Document.
This outlines additional measures to minimise risk.
30 September: Nine teams will compete in the 2020/21 season, with fixtures starting the week commencing Monday, 12 October.
As per rules agreed at the AGM, there will be no practice ends or tea break, matches will start at 7.15pm and the format is 5 pairs.
28 September: The play-off between Camelon C and Burnhead will take place at Laurieston Bowling Club on Sunday, 4 October at 1pm.
In light of Covid-19, admission will only be granted to players and members of Laurieston Bowling Club.
23 September: The AGM was held at Laurieston Bowling Club on Wednesday, 23 September during which the format of matches was changed to five pairs.

The AGM will be at Laurieston Bowling Club on Wednesday, 23 September at 7pm.
17 March: With Camelon C and Burnhead finishing level on points, a play-off was scheduled to take place at Laurieston Bowling Club on Thursday, 19 March.
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, this was postponed and will take place before the start of the next season at a venue, date and time suitable to both teams.
11 March: Congratulations to Burnhead on winning the Martin Ryan Memorial Trophy in a tie-break away to Camelon C.
Two shots down going into the last end, gents singles champion Derek Wright drew four bowls to within six inches of the jack.
24 February: Congratulations to Allandale (skipped by Alex Kerr) on their victory over Burnhead (skipped by Alan Mcfarlane) in yesterday's rink competition at Allandale Bowling Club.
16 February: Congratulations to Burnhead who after a Roy of the Rovers last bowl by their skip Jim Gibb, which landed bang on the middle of the ditch line, won the league triples in an extra end against co-hosts Laurieston A.
9 February: Congratulations to the mother and son team of Kelly Dickinson and Lewis Steele from Laurieston B on winning today's pairs tournament at Stenhousemuir. Commiserations to the beaten finalists from Allandale.
2 February: Congratulations to Kelly Dickinson from Laurieston B who 26 years after her first victory regained the ladies singles at Camelon. Commiserations to Izzy Bishop from Ochiltree.
2 February: Congratulations to Derek Wright from Burnhead on winning the gents singles at Camelon. Commiserations to John McArthur from Laurieston.
